If it weren’t for jesus

Who would your god be

If it weren’t for his suffering

And dieing on a tree

Would you say you have the answer for all eternity

Would you dodge and twist away from him

And find answers everywhere

But to jesus Christ the son of god

You say you wouldn’t dare? 

would you say a god of vengence?

A god with no more love

Would you find a reason to turn your back on Jehovah kind of love

When he took you in from Egypt whoever you would be

And he lead you through the ages just to tell you how to be

Would you turn your back upon him and deny that he’s the king

So he’ll just say mercy on you and make JESUS NOW THE KING
